It it's February, it must be Mardi Gras. That means King Cakes. And New Orleans auto care.
The nonprofit Car Care Council has some bad news for folks who want to buy a new car: The cost of new cars is rising and, the council says that, according to Kelly Blue Book, the average price for a new car is $34,000. That's eye popping and the council says that maintaining your current vehicle makes more economic sense than purchasing a new one.
"Keeping your current vehicle, and maintaining it at recommended intervals, protects its trade-in value and postpones the sting of new-car prices," says Rich White, the council's executive director.
The best way to keep your car well maintained is to take it to Twin Tire Auto Care. Twin Tire has been the trusted New Orleans auto care and auto repair service center since 1973. Twin Tire has three convenient New Orleans auto repair and auto care locations to serve you: Marrero, Harvey, and Hammond. Twin Tire also has a Harahan location for heavy commercial vehicles.
This month (that's February), Twin Tire is also offering an extra incentive to make sure your car is well maintained. Come in on Saturday and you get $10 off any purchase, PLUS you get free coffee and a slice of (what else during Mardi Gras month?) King Cake.
So, come on in and enjoy coffee and King Cake while our certified New Orleans auto care and auto repair pros keep you safely on the road.
