Soon It Will Be … | Toys for Tots, Auto Care

The long Christmas weekend is just a few days away.

The final countdown has begun. Just a few hours left for you to drop off a toy at one of Twin Tire and Auto Care's locations for Toys for Tots. The donated gifts will be headed out today to be wrapped and given to a deserving child who might otherwise go without.

We're also counting down the days until the long weekend. Many of us will be headed out on road trips to celebrate the season with friends and relatives. Others will stick around New Orleans. But, either way, it's wise to get your car checked out now before the holiday begins. You definitely do NOT want to break down on the road. And it's almost as bad to break down at home on a holiday weekend.

While you're getting some pre-holiday auto care, you should also think about the fuzzier members of your family. If you're taking Tank or Mittens on the road with you, be sure never to leave them alone in a car. And definitely don't let Bruno stick his head out the window, no matter how much he seems to like it. If you're sticking around the house, be sure you anchor trees securely and keep breakable ornaments and baubles out of paw's reach. For more holiday pet tips, check with or the American Humane Society. You want a Merry Christmas for all members of the family.

Twin Tire has been the trusted auto care and auto repair shop in New Orleans since 1973. Twin Tire has three locations to serve you: Marrero, Hammond and Harvey. We also have a location in Harahan for heavy, commercial vehicles.

Twin Tire will be open Christmas Eve from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Twin Tire will be closed Christmas day and the day after to celebrate the holidays with our families. We will be open regular hours on Monday.
